Meet the Community Counselors

Six experienced agency leaders curate the weekly discussion topics, share what they’re seeing in their own businesses, and answer member questions. They’re the reason this community doesn’t drift — every week has a clear point of focus.

What members say

“Grow Your Agency isn’t just another Slack group—it’s the hidden door you didn’t know you needed to knock on. Behind it? A welcoming gem of a community where agency leaders swap stories, solve people puzzles, and make critical business connections. It’s where you go when you need real talk. If you run an agency, you’ll want a seat at this table—because this game is way more fun when you’re not playing it alone.” — Veronica St. Cyr, Operations Manager, Stirling Brandworks
“Being part of the wider Grow Your Agency community has been a total game changer. I no longer feel like I’m running my agency in a vacuum. I can turn to a group of real agency owners who are facing the same kinds of challenges. The kind of stuff you can’t bring to your staff, and that friends or family just don’t get. If you’re running a serious agency, joining the Grow Your Agency family is honestly a no-brainer.” Sheldon Poon, Drive Marketing

Frequently asked

Is the community active, or is it a ghost town?

Active. There’s chatter most days, and the Counselors guarantee at least one curated discussion topic every week. Member questions usually get real answers within hours, not days. We’ve been at this since 2017.

What kind of agencies are in it?

Mostly independent agencies and freelance operators in the 1–20 person range — creative, digital, marketing, design, dev. Some larger shops, some solo consultants. Mix of US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

Is this a course or info product?

No. It’s a peer community. There are no lessons to complete, no curriculum, no upsells. You join the Slack, you chat with other agency people. The Counselors curate the conversation; they don’t lecture.

How much time does it take?

As much or as little as you want. Most members pop in a few times a week. Some lurk and skim, some are active daily. There’s no pressure to be present — the value is being able to ask a question and get a real answer when you actually need it.

Why $35? It seems low.

Honest answer: I want serious agency people in the room, but I don’t want price to be the barrier. $35 once filters out the bots and freebie hunters without keeping out folks who’d genuinely contribute. The community is the product — not the entry fee.

What happened to the $100 service-provider tier?

We dropped it for now. Single $35 price for everyone. If you sell services to agencies (coaching, software, etc.), the same rules apply: contribute first, pitch only when it’s invited.

Is there a refund policy?

No. It’s a one-time $35 to join, and all sales are final. If you’re not sure it’s a fit, email me before you join and I’ll help you decide.

Who runs it?

I do — Chris Bolton, agency advisor and former agency leader. The six Community Counselors keep the weekly conversation moving. We’ve been at this since 2017.
